We say "courtier". "Brokeur" simply does not exist.

It's a typo. Ask a native - and they look at you weird. However, I did look into it as evidenced by this post . Apparently, no one knows what it means, but know it is used by some...

French: quel est votre brokeur et en êtes vous content ?
English: Who is your broker and are you happy with them?

Search for the term on Google ... and you find a couple instances where it is used.

Broker is in english and French.

Many french speaking ppl take english words and use it in french and even sometimes transform it to be "french".

ie: Router (english) = Routeur ("french" - The real translation is "aiguilleur")
