NW, Snaps, and a lot of luck...

Try to make some money with your current domains so you can fund the investments for better names: either by buying them sirectly from the owner, or bidding enough (or early enough if you're using SnapNames) at the dropservices).

less than 5% chance. yOu are also going up agains buydomains and ultsearch, and aside from them, the drops are hardley going anywhere else at this time.

1. They work with more than one registrar at a time...
2. They have been tuning their scripts for (literally) years

.... I wonder though why they do not visit domain forums? Of course they may not have the time to do it, because while we are reading the forums, they are busy catching names, or finding them. Plus they might feel that they don't have anything to read that they don't know about...

But... one of you may as well be BuyDomains or UltSearch disguised as a newbie dnforum member :D

Finally, we agree on something.

you don't have to be a "registrar" status..

If you have the skill level to write the code for building a script for drop names.. just market that service.

one question, would your script have the ability to track drop names, which already have inbound links/ or were already indexed in the top search engines.?

goodluck.

Taz, save your money my friend because you won't get ANYTHING
unless you are a registrar.

You might be able to pick up names that nobody wants but that's about it.

Even most registrars offering drop services are having a hard time
getting good names these days..

I still have a script for eNom but it does not do a thing during drops.

The registry is getting hammered so hard at 2pm by requests that it takes too long to even figure out if a name is available or not.

It slows to a crawl..
