Bulk Alexa and PageRank Checker.

I made this yesterday. I thought it was pretty cool. You can actually get a good amount of information from Alexa, since it returns a xml document. I just get the ranking information from alexa for now but later on could be expanded.

Features:
Gets Alexa Ranking
Gets pagerank of site/page
Allows you to enter many domains at one time.
Export the information to csv.

One bug Google.com returns a pr of 1 for some reason. Might be a problem with pr 10 sites but others work fine.

Looked into the google api a little today.

Added google result count for your domain.
Cool part is you can also get the number of results for any word or phase that you enter in the main text box. Just turn off the alexa and pagerank checking part and you can use it as keyword result counter.

The google result count option requires a valid google api key.

Would be a nice feature to incorporate a feature you can load in a list of proxy servers so you can check long lists of overture and alexa results.

Proxy support will see. I would really like to do overture but first need to find out how to get that information. According to some posts on this forum is they block you from overture if you do too many requests from one ip address.

If thats the format. The program can already process them.
Just goto File --> Load Domain List and it will load them.

Yes, the program is made in visual basic 6. You can get the source for a cheap fee heh.
