Alex,
I just purchased Real Estate Agency .com and the seller insisted I open an account with them so he could do an inter-registrar push. So, I just opened my account with them, it cost me $50.
I had no idea of the $5 transfers until I had my account opened, and logged in for the first time. There's a splash page informing you of the $5 special once you log in.
I'm happy that I paid the $50 to become a member now that I know about the $5 special, I may do the maximum 200 names @ $5 apiece and save myself the difference of an additional $400 I'd pay renewing these 200 names where the're at now. I need to see what the rate to transfer away is. If they wack you on that, I may reconsider.
As of now, I can report that the nameserver change was free.
And I'm pretty sure the push was free for the seller that sold it to me, though it was internal.
So, I need to find out the fee, if any, to transfer away next year or two when these 200 names start to come up for renewal. If they make up for the discount then, I won't do it, and just consider the $50 I shelled out as part of the acquisition of Real Estate Agency .com, and abandon the account.
If I had to guess at this point, no they don't charge to transfer away.
I'll report back.

Well, I just got off the phone with them.
No fee to transfer away, as far as there concerned.
As usual, there may be a fee as determined by the gaining registrar. But not them.
And, you have to stay with them for 60 days on the $5 special. Fine with me :)
As far as more than 200, the gentleman names Ryan told me I need to call Monday and speak with Emanual for a granted permission of more than 200 names. I'll give them much more than 200 if they want them.
Unless, of course, I start to hear some horror stories about them.
Time to post for opinions on Bulk Register.

Update:
If you have something to add about them, please see this thread

BulkRegister appears to outsource some of its operations to India. They threatened to "suspend" a domain if I didn't respond to an email within 5 days.

Yes, I contacted them directly and they acknowledged the email to be real while never offering any reassurances - their customer support seems overwhelmed; more of it outsourced now?

Overall, my experiences with BulkRegister have been good over the past 4+ years, but their service appears to be in a state of flux at the moment - for what they charge, I expect better.
