True story:

Last June, I found on a list of dropping domains:

GeorgeHWBush-dot-com

(That's right, the actual official name of the original President Bush.)

I snapped it up for reg fee.

That same day, I emailed his Presidential Library to ask whether they would be interested in having the name (for free). Three weeks later, a staffer finally wrote back and said "We would love to take you up on your offer. Please let me know how to proceed to facilitate the transfer."

I wrote back with instructions.

Almost a month after that, I emailed him again since nothing was happening. His reply: "Thanks for following up...things are progressing at the speed of government."

This February, I wrote again ... no answer yet.

Boy, ya try to do somebody a favor!
