Unless new.net begins to bundle their plug-in with ever vendor's Web Browser (which won't happen), this domain is unfortunately worthless.

They are all keepers. Worth nothing now - but the extensions ever become widely available and used, easily accessbile like a general domain, your in the money.

I'll just keep it and develop, Thanks All!

Why bother if no one can access it?

New.Net is kind of like a sourvenir shop that sells bottles filled with <vacation location> air, except much worse. When you open up the bottle you and your friends can enjoy the <location> air for a nano-second. With New.net, you can't even open up the bottle since there is no bottle.

New.net is nothing more than an online novelty shop appealing to the vanity of their buyers. You're better off by buying a star at the Star Registry: http://www.starregistry.com/. At least you get something for your money. :-P

The internet is much more than just the web ... this is where new.net TLDs and even IDNs fail ... how does one send email to business.agent ... and be aware of many folks accidently typing business.agent.COM ... I just nearly did that a moment ago.

In short, it's worth about what you paid :-#:

Looking for opinons on : business.agent

The problem with this domain is not the "business" part, but rather what's after the dot. Even within the "new.net" domain system, dot agent would rank low... So you have your work cut out for you...

Nonetheless, you could develop the name for PPC purposes... Google bots are indexing these sites:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:.new.net+business

My question is....Since these sites are being indexed by Google why don't you ever see them in the top 10 pages of any search you do? ANSWER-------> They have never been optimized. The people who are building these sites "only" see them as being "New.net" sites.... Hence no Anchor tags, etc.

izopodian SEO philosphy: You are only as small as you make yourself out to be.

Best of luck...

this name tends to fall into the idn and great keyword with new open cctld dns
ie has a lot of potential but maybe not worth anything right now. Plug in prob is the major problem, but hold onto it, if the accessibility improves this dn will definitely have value as its an excellent term

ps i checked out your link to second life in your sig - fantastic site, loved it !

Thank your for all the replies.... when I typed business.... every extension was taken. I don't know alot about the new.net stuff but every business extension was taken other that business.agent. Therefore I figured I'd get it. I'm addicted to this crap.

Anyway, I appreciate the posts and I'm learning.
