Today I looked up a domain to see if it was available. The .com was taken. I do a whois and it shows Godaddy's info. On Godaddy's site it suggests they can try and get me a price on it for $79!?!

I said screw that and I visit the site and I am redirected to Godaddy Auctions. Fair enough, I thought, I will go and bid on the domain. However, the domain is no where to be found? :?:

I sent an email to the Godaddy email address in the whois, and I received an automated reply from TDNAM. I will see what they say.

Anyone else have experience with this? Are they just holding domains not auctioning them off? It isn't even a premium domain and I don't expect it to be worth more than $100.
