How do you buy an established site for this much? DO you use escrow? What if the seller wants a certified check? Can you put 30k in Escrow?

Yea, or just use your attorney to be the escrow agent. I just did that.

I have also used the seller's attorney.

$500 is what I would expect to pay...to an attorney that is...

I would use escrow. That way you can arrange to have access to the site for like 10 days and check it out

True, anyone know of a good lawyer or could vouch for a particular lawyer on dnforum?

Contracts with additional terms written up and for amounts that exceed the $5,000 limit.

doesn't their support suck for domains? meaning they can claim they gave me the domain when i haven't really received it. Is their contract system effective?

A little off topic,

But is there something similiar to escrow.com?

Apparently they dont allow people from Arizona to sign up.

"Escrow.com can not currently handle escrow transactions for residents of Arizona. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
