Not sure what you are asking - the transfer failed and you are wondering if there is some type of lock, or someone tried to thieve your domain and thus you want to lock it down?

It's not generally necessary for the .ca's. Cira is a small organization and they actual answer their phones (imagine that in this day and age). Someone would need your cira password to authorize the registrant transfer so as long as you don't give that out the transfer will fail. If they did get your password you could call cira and have them freeze the domain pending clarifying the circumstances.

It's happened a couple of times to me and it's usually someone who owns the singular and enters the plural or vice versa when doing a transfer. They just die from lack of authorization.

No biggie:hippie:

I have heard from other folks that thier domains have been transfered to other registRARs and they are still are the reistRANT.

with all this accept merger process - it is easy to let one slip by - I am spending more time before I approve these things

It would be nice to put a LOCK on the domain just like the .com
