Good Luck with this domain ... see listed at the "Live auction" (4/20)!! Nice .ORG :)

Do you have any suggestions for getting this sold? Tis is the first time I've tried to sell a domain.

Thanks,
George

Suggestion: Reduce the price for the "Live auction", if you want to generate more interest. Hope that helps.
Good Luck.

Given the appraisal of between 2975 and 4000 what would you suggest??

Since the name is listed for the DNF auction let's hope you don't sell it elsewhere as you will be expected to honour the sale if it is sold at the auction! (See auction rules).

If its sold elsewhere I'll remove it from the auction. If its not sold prior to auction I'll remove it from there prior to auction.

Make sense? Acceptable idea?

Appraisals are VERY subjective ... there are no "official" or "professional" appraisals IMHO. If it was mine, I'd put it up for auction at $1.00 and hope it moves that evening. Just what I would do. :)
On the other matter, IF someone proxies the domain prior to the auction, you won't be able to remove it. The advice provided to you here is wise ... either list if for auction OR remove it (and try to sell it here in the "Sales threads"). Not both.
Thanks. Good Luck.

What do you mean by proxies the domain??

Proxies the domain means that someone puts the top amount they are willing to pay and the system automatically does the bidding for them in the auction. Once someone puts a proxy bid in (could be any time before auction), you cannot delete the name from auction.

I agree with CoolHost - appraisals are virtually worthless - I would put the name in for $1 as well and I would personally be surprised to see it get $20 in the auction. You will not get retail prices here - wholesale only.

OK. I've removed it for now...will try next week.

Sounds good, George! :D
Remember, same two principles will apply next week, as well ... namely, your pricing structure and its relation to the "wholesale" nature of this Board ... and, the irrevocable status of a proxy environment. I wish you the very best, honest to Goodness!
Good Luck.
