I picked up this domain name as I think the dot info is well suited to advice type websites.

What do you think the domain name is worth to a developer in an auction on flippa for example?

I'm fairly new to domaining and trying to learn how to put reasonable values on domain names. My own opinion is that it might be worth around $150?

Would welcome an appraisal from a more experienced domainer!

Personally, have a niche of education myself and pays off well. Everyone whether they are 16 to 55+ needs career advice.

I would hold on to the domain and develop into a blog that sells eBooks, college affiliates, portfolio reviews, CLEP & DSST testing to get them ahead in their career.

ITTech pays ~$20 a lead. Focus on IT and the domain pays for itself if you can get it ranked, build lists to user preference and become recognized.

XX to low XXX if looking for quick cash, but with CPC, CPL and list building this name could take you much farther if you have the time and resources to develop it.

Look into PepperJam for ITTech CPL program, use Adsense, sell eBooks on bettering your career with Clickbank—but don’t shove it down the visitors’ throat. Make sure that it looks professional and you are trying to help the individual advance in their career.

You have to take into account you can't get $5 articles without poor spelling and grammar. I pay upwards of $20 to $30 for good content that G(od)ogle loves.

There's a difference between development and flipping.

I'm a risk taker though. I will take a useless domain, try and create traffic and if it fails junk it and cut losses.

I do have someone in my MBA course who is putting themself through school for article(/essay) writing and takes anywhere from $15-$50 (depending on word count and quality of course), if you would like to develop, shoot me a PM.
