Actually, I think the plural would be at least as good, even though the singular has almost twice as many Google results.

My first impression is that the singular means that it's a site by a car nut; plural means that it's a site aimed at car nuts. That's not absolutely true; just struck me that way.

I'd say low-mid $xxx to an end user. Good luck!

I prefer the plural. See, for a forum you could do something like:

Ford.CarNuts.com
Honda.CarNuts.com

etc.
