I'm not convinced about .asia at this point, but I was messing around looking at domains and discovered that

CheckingAccounts.asia

was available. I obviously like the keywords, like the search volume and the estimated cpc according to Google Adwords (around $12 a click) - so I grabbed it.

I also noticed that CheckingAccount.asia must be blocked by the registry or something, because instead of whois info, it just says "NOT FOUND."

So, anyway, any thoughts on potential value on my one and only (and staying that way) .asia?

Nice. someone in Chicago appraising an asian domain. Much like a child giving a diagnosis of a patient.

The singular form is reserved so there must be a reason. Plural doesnt have many asian extensions taken. Checking accounts rarel exist in asia as cash, trade, and credit are the means of exchange. hard to tell for now.

Thanks MD - yeah, I was a little iffy on the use/popularity of checking accounts in the Asian market, but the singular being reserved kind of made up my mind for me. Like you said, it's still hard to tell - we'll have to wait and see.

Is there any way to find out if/when these reserved names will be auctioned? I checked the Pool site, but there's no search functionality. I believe the the singular, CheckingAccount, will be auctioned because more than one claim was made on it initially (which is why it was reserved, as far as I can tell).

Thanks again.

There are many things you can develop with this domain. Nice catch!
