If making revenue then 5-7 years revenue, dont forget summer is toffee/beach season I would guess vendors like to purchase quantiities for stands at the beach etc, my guess is that would be the explanation for such a high click rate, there are names with extremely low overture that do pretty good if there isnt a lot of competition for the keywords, in the future you may want to state traffic and income because that makes a big difference when appraissing domains
good luck

The Click Value is only half the equation. I found a great article on a site the other day relating to adsense rates. They showed the highest priced adsense rates with $50 per click, however they yielded only a .1 click per day. Then they showed keywords with a 5 cent click cost and 100,000 average clicks or a daily average of $500,000... Plus you're fighting over other sites competing for the same keywords. Your chance of having a site get part of the $500,000 is much better then your site competing for the $50 every 10 Days.

Basically, the click cost is only half the equation, you would need to count how many clicks the ads on your site get times the ad rate.

Thank you for your response.

Yes I agree it is half the equation.

For the rest of it, domain has recieved 10 uniques, has an 80 percent click through rate with an average of .70 / click

Well, then you managed to answer your own question. The value of the domain is the Clickthrough Per Day*ClickRate per Day (or lets just make it easy, income per day) * 365 * x Years. The person above said 5 years, I thought it was 3 years. So, in your case, if the 8 clickthroughs were per day, the daily is $5.60 (correct?) * 365 = apx $2000/year. If the 5 year value mentioned above is correct, then that would be around $10,000. However, at $10,000 you probably need some hefty long-term logs to validate the income, 3 months to a year.

I understand how revenue multiples work, I am more interested in the value of name for brandability and for some traffic.

The name does not get this traffic per day, i just said total. Not looking to disclose full stats.

if it was plural it would be better. As I told someone in another thread, one letter could throw off the ease of branding it.

$XX - XXX

ok, without traffic: the name itselft is rather long and is likely to have typo issues (double letters etc.).. brandable..yes I think so, its not a great name but better than many of the other domains up for appraisal, because the name looks better in a link than typing it in yourself , if you really want to develop the name you are better to get traffic through links (from candy realted sites and such) rather than trying to get more traffic through search engines..
