LOL well it is a cheerful site isnt it. Unique idea though might be right about price down the road. Only drawback is the domain extension at moment.

I like it, nice clean site with four main articles and lots
of white background, so easy to read. You could
easily find more articles to add relating to Christmas
and shopping. Google search box nicely placed for user searches
and more income.
I would also put a 120x600 google adsense box
on the right side of the page near the top, to include
more christmas shopping ad goodies. Look in overture
keywords to see what people are looking for with
christmas.
As for domain, it's a strong term that everyone uses
at that time of year. Would be $xxx to reseller, to
someone who wanted to develop a strong xmas shopping
site for Canada, then $x,xxx. Hopefully the search engines
will pick it up in time for this xmas season good luck!

BTW, domain extension is great for marketing in Canada,
and with search engines you still have potential for
traffic from anywhere.

Thanks all for the encouragement and appraisals. I will be adding GIFTS FOR HER/GIFTS FOR HIM/CHILDRENS GIFTS pages to get more product specific ads. :santa:

At the moment, a few hundred to a holder... maybe 400.

End user is significantly higher without a doubt. depending on buyer.
But I could guess low to mid x,xxx.

.ca names are getting tough to grab lately. So in a year or more, you can expect reseller value to double quite easily. but end user might not peek past mid x,xxx.

Hope I helped.

Kevin.

Yeah but who says this is a nice design?
It looks like a sales page to me as another millions of sales page out there on internet.

Domain is nice and will fetch you $500 but I just wanted to comment on the design thing. Thanks god the designer did'nt used black instead of white.

Nice clean site... the colors are great.

Only thing that bugs me is the presence of google and the google font in the adds stand out making the site loose integrity.

The money generated may not be much untill its developed to a high traffic site, Might I suggest you drop the google adds and be more discreet with the income. I'm finding these adsence adds everywhere these days.. when i see it i know the site is usually low end low maintenance.

googles adds are sometimes full of it. Go to the add and it has nothing to do with what your looking for.. in effect wasting valuable time.

If I owned the domain, I'd be happy with that index page. the image and colors have that christmas feel, I'd consider you go to your own site as a surfer and see what you would like to see. I realy think something can be done with it.

Kevin.

This is a good example of how an all Canadian parking company would be of benefit. Your Google ads have little relevance to your website title and it is hard to optimize the ads so that they would. A Canadian parking company would be able to set up a nice web page (similar to Gold Key parking pages for example) and list only Canadian companies and products. If I had the money I would hire some computer kids from university to partner in a new company. There is a potential market of hundreds of thousands of domain names. Free to join.....nice website looking pages.....revenue split between the company and domain holders.....lots of Canadian retailers looking for ad space. How about it? Twenty investors of 5,000 each and we would have 100,000 to start it up. Anybody here build websites?

Thanks again for your comments. Remember, this is the original design to get the site out there. I wanted it roughly developed before this Christmas. Next year, I have development plans to expand and improve the site to reflect its Canadian slant. I wish I had a group of webmasters on staff to help but I don't. I do what I can...:santa:
