WOW! Nice score. $20-$25k in the current market. Obvioulsy more to the righ tbuyer or in an up market. Worth keeping and waiting for the large sale IMHO.

As far as setting up a cigarette site - you have t be careful. I am currently working with a client who sells discount cigarettes on the internet. The stuff you have to do is pretty incredible. There a TON of laws and taxes. But, they do about $100k - $200k per month in sales. Their website sucks terribly, but they advertise in several major metro newspapers.

Yes, it's a tricky scenario.

The ciggie industry may be falling and it's not pc to smoke now. You have a dilemma.

On the page, I would put a large size surgeon general's warning about cigarette health dangers, and the effects on pregnancy explicated, build about 1,000 links to it and then call the major cig manuf. about offers. Tell them its all business you are renting the space to an advocacy group and you want them out.

If they don't respond, upload numerous exploded photos of black lung specimens (as graphic as possible), get more links, then call them again. Me thinks they 'll buy it to shut you up. You gotz the billboard, it's pretty conspicuous and targets smokers.

you should check with some of the larger indian reservations - they sell tobacco tax free over the net, and it is a huge industry. National Public Radio recently did a story regarding their sales. Check their archives for links and info.

fags as they are called here in uk, are mostly made up of taxes. for £4.50 packet of Benson & hedges i yhink the shop owner earns 20-30 pence. Just for your infomation, they cost bundles here, so there's loads of vans and cars go over to France and Belguim to get 'cheap cheap' fags, booze and purfumes. There's a big stink on here about it, our gov earns about 18b from tax and spends about 500m on health. I may not be totally accurate with them figures but its something like that anyway. So your name is worth lots and lots, look at sex.com, and think about all the ciggies that are smoked after a good shag ...... yeah shaggin and smokin, you're gonna earn a fortune m8. BOL

I don't see any Cigarette co. really wanting this domain, or the .com for that matter.....
I think it would better be attributed to an antismoking campaign like "truth".
Try marketing it into the anti smoking market, patches, gums, non-profits, lawyers, etc
