My client is launching an AI-powered fitness center.

The concept:
AI analyzes posture, movement performance, and physical metrics, then provides data-driven recommendations to optimize training and prevent injury.

We are looking for a strong, brandable .COM domain with the following criteria:

Requirements
• Budget: $3,000 – $5,000
• Maximum 10 letters (preferably 8 or fewer)
• Two-word combination only
• Both words must be real dictionary words
• No made-up words
• No deliberate misspellings
• Variants (like Shopee / Spotify style modifications) are acceptable
• Clean, visually balanced, trademark-friendly

Client is not concerned about SEO metrics.
However, domains with spam history, legal issues, or any negative background will be automatically declined.

Already Rejected by Client (Similar Names Not Needed)😥

The following were from my own portfolio and were declined by the client, so similar directions likely won’t work:
• KeepBoost
• GymDock
• ForgeReady
• Stepedia

Pricing & Process

If suitable, please DM using the full template below (see format under “DM Submission Template”):
• Retail price (the price presented to the client)
• Wholesale / dealer price (your net expectation)

Retail price is the client-facing price.
Wholesale / dealer price reflects the margin available for brokerage and project coordination. It may be identical to retail if you prefer.

If the client narrows it down to multiple strong candidates, commercial feasibility will naturally be part of the final recommendation.

If the name is truly exceptional, I can discuss stretching the budget slightly — but flexibility is limited. The total project budget (including branding, trademark work, and website development) is around NTD 500,000 (~USD 17,000).

Let’s be realistic — if the domain takes the whole pie, what am I supposed to eat? 😄

If the domain is parked, I may forward the landing page directly to the client, so please ensure public pricing is reasonably aligned with your quote.

If approved, an NDA will be required prior to transaction.
Please confirm your sales platform does not publicly log completed sales.

Serious sellers only.
Looking forward to seeing what’s available.

💥Definition Clarification

To avoid confusion, here is what we consider acceptable:

Acceptable Two-Word Combination

Dictionary word + dictionary word

Example:
GymDock = Gym + Dock

Both parts must be real dictionary words.
Clear separation. No invented roots.

Acceptable Variant Form

Dictionary word + suffix-style modification

The result should sound like a single coined brand name,
not simply two separate words forced together.

Example:
Shopee = Shop + ee
Spotify = Spot + ify
Stepedia = Step + edia

In short, it must feel like a brandable evolution of a word, not just a stitched compound.

💥DM Submission Template

Please use the following format when sending proposals:

Name: GymDock.com
BIN: 4999
Dealer Price: 3000

Name: Stepedia.com
BIN: 3999
Dealer Price: 3999

👉Important clarification (please read carefully):

Your BIN is the exact price that will be presented to the client.
It directly impacts the client’s pricing perception and decision-making.

If you intend to sell at 3,000, please list BIN as 3,000.

For example, if you submit:
BIN: 5,000
Dealer Price: 3,000

The client will evaluate the name at 5,000.

Dealer Price is simply the coordination margin. It may provide some flexibility if multiple names are equally strong, but the final decision always belongs to the client.

For context, the client is a U.S.-educated young entrepreneur returning to Taiwan. He evaluates names based on clarity and brand fit, not pricing tactics.

Even names from my own portfolio have already been declined. Fit matters more than negotiation structure.

I've got gymbranded.com and gymbelong. com. Both up with spaceship. Happy to do a deal for one or the other at the high end of your buget.

Thank you for the suggestions.

However, most of the submitted names do not meet the stated criteria.

FITZOP is not composed of two dictionary words.
GYMWALA combines a dictionary word with a non-dictionary suffix.
DUMBELL.xyz is not a .COM and also contains a spelling issue.

CLAPBOY is structurally a valid two-word combination, but it does not align with the AI-driven fitness positioning of this project.

Please review the requirements carefully before submitting further names.

Appreciate the effort.

Is just one word acceptable or does it have to be 2?

Also, if I add a suffix to a word but I have to add another letter to the word in order for the suffix to work in a better way, is that acceptable?

A single-word name would of course be great — but it must be a real dictionary word and genuinely memorable.

That said, let’s be realistic. At a 5,000 budget, is a strong one-word .COM even attainable? That would be extremely unlikely.

As for adding a suffix and an extra letter to make it flow better — that’s fine.
But the final result must read and feel like one unified word, not two words stitched together.

In short, the client understands that 5,000 won’t secure a premium single-word .COM.
That’s why we’re primarily focusing on two-word combinations or well-structured variant forms.

I wish the moderators of this sub were more active in ensuring offers actually complied with the requests of prospective buyers. @Ricado has very specific needs and was clear about them. @AA3862 replied to him with a bunch of domains that have nothing to do with what he's looking for. And he's not the only one: the "wanted" area is full of this kind of spam. A prospective buyer says he needs a one-word dot-com domain and he's flooded with replies for domains consisting in several words .net .xyz .ai and other TLDs. This is just annoying spam, that's bound to keep prospective buyers away from this forum.

Thanks for the support.

To be honest, when I see long lists of unrelated submissions, I usually just skip them.

In real projects, when presenting options to a client, I usually show three names at most, with maybe one or two backups. If someone submits ten names at once, it often suggests the names were not carefully considered.

You can see a similar situation on Atom naming contests. The tier system itself makes sense. For example, I can only submit one entry per contest. However, higher tier participants with previous wins are allowed to submit unlimited entries.

Imagine a naming contest where some people can submit dozens of ideas. That becomes very similar to dumping a long list of names and asking the client to pick one.

Meanwhile, participants who submit fewer but more carefully considered ideas are restricted. In the end, the client may never see those ideas. When contests become about volume instead of thought, it is not surprising that fewer serious buyers want to run naming requests.

Lowered by 1k because could be a clean fit so won't go any lower but i have unterlay.com

Depends what your client considers made up words,

Unter = under in German

Fits perfectly because the platform analyzes the underlying layer of human performance posture, movement mechanics, and physical metrics.

Just like an underlay is the hidden foundation beneath a surface, the AI reveals the foundational biomechanical patterns beneath athletic performance, helping athletes train smarter and prevent injury.

Short version:
Unterlay = the data layer beneath performance.

Thank you everyone for the enthusiastic participation. The client has now formed a clearer direction, so I will close this request here.

As a small follow-up, I’d like to share the four names I originally proposed from my own portfolio, and why they were not selected. This may also help explain why many other submissions were unlikely to fit the project.

• KeepBoost
• GymDock
• ForgeReady
• Stepedia

The issue was not the structure of these names. They all follow common brand construction patterns.

KeepBoost implies tracking and performance pressure. It sounds closer to a productivity or performance tool.

GymDock strongly suggests a physical place or platform connected to a gym environment.

ForgeReady conveys a very intense, goal-driven tone, almost like a hardcore training program.

Stepedia feels more like a knowledge base or instructional platform.

None of these are inherently bad names, but they frame the product as a place, a tool, or a system.

Over the past few days, I shared several of the domains submitted here with the client and discussed them with him further. Through those conversations, the direction became clearer.

My impression is that he is leaning more toward the idea of companionship rather than a facility, tool, or program. When I asked whether the concept was something closer to a name like “Fit Pal”, he said yes, that is roughly the type of feeling he has in mind.

Of course I also explained that domains of that type are extremely unlikely to be acquired within a $5,000 range.

At this point the client has engaged a broker to explore several options.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to participate and share ideas.
