sorry, i don't see anything wrong with the support guy.

They may give you $300 as a Christmas gift. :) You still have no clu if your credit card was charged or not. The best way is to contact your credit card company and recheck with them. Then contact registerfly. If they charged to your CC and don't want to solve the issue, then go back to your CC company and dispute the chargeback--as simple as that.

Beatz, it's a very shocking story... I've my credit card info stored with them too, but there seems no way to delete it.

I am very sorry for that story. We, Europeans use CC more often than Americans. As a knowledge for others: You get a monthly extract of your CC. Yes, CC banks have support phones but support people can not give you receipt upon request.

My suggestion to you is open a Key-System GmbH reseller account, www.rrpproxy.net, with $7.95 per domain registration. You just deposit minumum $100 by faxing a form. I haven't had a problem with them yet. However, as they are in Germany you can just call them.

Beatz, I cant agree with you on this.. I read that 3 times and every time all I get is you YELLING for satisfaction without wanting to provide something as simple as youre cc statement for verification...
How difficult is that ?

I see you losing control with some $8 kid that does nothing more than passess problems along to the appropriate dept ....


You think eveytime someone claims fraud these companies are suppose to just say Oh oK..heres some money? or his another product?..

The problem can vERY easily be handled with a simple CC statement..

Nothing personal..I think you just over-reacted..

2 weeks ago the wife and I had nearly 2 thosands dollars charged to one of our credit cards.. We didnt call up and give them a hard time.. we wanted the problem taken care of ..to do that there are necessary steps..just the way that it works..

You dont get "support" by yelling at the peop-le that can fix the proble for you.

we had to show they werent our charges .. we had 2 thosand cleared up in a matter of days AND the a New CC card with a new number etc...


Just hope to take a step back and realize that approach will never get you anywhere's ..I know I use to be a total hot head over every little problem..

The "dimwits" never understood the problem..my yeling at that never made them smarter or made them understand the problem..but patience did...

I have had many problems with RF myself, I hate them and thier live support staff are no help. I still have a support ticket over 60 days old which has never been answered, well they did, but the answer was wrong. I just keep reopening it, over and over.

Avoid them if you can.

I have to agree with .biz & bidawinner

You did not make a good faith effort to resolve the problem. You were more interested in making your point to somebody who obviously had no power to help you. I would have saved my energy for the right person.

I think you should pursue this with the correct department, then come back and tell us if they are not helpful.

From a neutral point, it looks like they are probably willing to do something for you with proof you were charged. Most credit card companies don't penalize or charge interest on disputed amounts once filed. I do agree RF's support staff is undertrained and generally useless. I have always received good results from Tim Shor though. I believe he's more than administator, and more likely the owner.

I don't doubt their was a problem on their end, as I've had several problems with their scripts myself, as well as about every other registrar I've dealt with. But, just because their database shows a charge, doesn't mean the problem isn't with their database and was ACTUALLY charged to your credit card. It could be a glitch, or someone elses card credited to your account.

BTW, Good luck with luxorhotels.net. Sounds like an invitation for a C&D letter to me. I wouldn't take on the Vegas casinos and their unlimited sources for anything.

Try to take it easy. My suggestion is that either avoid RF or cancel automatic charging if you can. For Key-Systems reseller account send me a PM if you want to know in detail. They are kind people and the process is easy.
