Cloud Domains

There may be a slight problem with that one since the Hourly rates for cloud Computing services typically run anywhere from 1.5 cents to 12 cents per hour.

Eric

Eric,

Thanks for the feedback regarding LowCostCloud.com. I have to disagree with you on one point though, I know the the cloud rates run from 1.5 to 12 cents, however if there is a price range on a service or a product then you will ALWAYS have a low cost end ( being 1.5 cent) and a high end 12 cent. Even though both are cheap, the 12 cent is not cheap if you can get cloud for 1.5 cent, just like you can get car insurance from $150 upto $1,200 depending on what company you go with. If I had my own business and had a very low budget for cloud and I saw a website called LowCostCloud.com or CheapCloud.com I would be straight there. This is only my opinion but with sites like - LowCostHolidays.com ect doing extremely well and with things like this popping up everywhere - http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/352746/Spot_Market_Offers_Low_Cost_Cloud_Capacity I can see why the domain will be appealing to a Low Cost Cloud business.

Regards.

Yes, I agree with you! Now I see it your way. I found 2 more domains that are still available: cloudfromhome.com and consumerscloud.com

i decided to snap up consumerscloud.com after i posted that it was still available. However the following are still available:

cloudfromhome.com
lowpricedcloud.com

Eric

Anybody want to make an offer for cloudtechnology.co? I have it listed at GoDaddy but may lower the price.

Eric

Appears to be exactly that - random words.

looks like it has nothing to do with cloud computing in general.

I had been watching these cloud domains for a while and was actually able to pick one up today... SellClouds.com I think its pretty good, could be used for an assortment of different types of cloud computing services... depending on how its branded... was lurking on this domain hard for a while, lol.

Time to hold for a bit or start entertaining these offers?

Time to hold for a bit or start entertaining these offers?

It's time to entertain. I work the cloud market and especially after significant media on the subject, it's time to get reasonable... identify your target prices, floor price etc and drive on. People looking to establish a startup have strict timelines and funding availability but they have options when it comes to top names. You can hold out... but technology is a fast moving niche.

I remember timing the voip curve some time ago ;)

I understand. Completely. I am actually not like many others trying to get rich off these domains, but I also do not want to sell short. I have had a few offers in the lower xxx range, but looking for a bit more and considering I have not owned the domain for long, I am in no rush to sell.

I have:
cloud.lc
ecloud.lc
thecloud.lc
cloudsecurity.lc
cloudcomputing.lc

I hope to start promoting in about three weeks when I finish a project that has me working until about this time every night.

.lc is Saint Lucia. Been there, love it.

Ive just sold

CloudTribe.com - $1,650

I only paid $125 for it just over 4 weeks ago.

Not the greatest sale but will do for re-investing again.

Cheers

Wow, that's a great sale in my honest opinion. I didn't even think I can get close to that for my name, but there is hope!

A couple more cloud sales

CloudVertical.com
$1,100

Cloudalizer.com
$1,700
