I have seen maybe 5-10 different guys who get names with it, not more!

Beachie, a lot, more then you may think

Does anyone know how many resellers Enom has? That would tell you the highest possible number that could join CD since you have to be a reseller to join. I mentioned closing the club at say 500, but even that is really too large to make it worthwhile for the members under the round robin system. If they announced they were going to close it once they hit 200 members, just as an example, they would probably sell all the memberships quickly. Then they could let you sell your membership on the aftermarket if you wanted to - just as you can resell you registration account if you want.

Active Resellers: 6,036

I contacted enom and asked how many cd members they have, but they will not tell it. But they said "Results Gunther, focus on the results"
But they said that there is no max for cd members not 200 not 500 .

Wow - I hope all 6,000 don't jump in! :)

I can say max of 10% of that can be CD members.

Many Reseller's account belongs to one person.

And many resellers not after drop domains.

I am guessing even lower than 100 at the present time.
Of the good names they have caught it seems as though many of us here have caught them.

I grabbed a whole mess in the beginning and fewer with each passing day. Not stellar names but names which other members here would probably have put on their list like "cried.net" which was on my list as well as performs.com and acknowledged.com, anchors.net, porked.net etc.

I really feel that if there are more than 50-100 active CD members then the my grabs will dimminish to the point of not being worth the time.

Just my opinion.

I'm afraid that is what will happen as well. Every new member means a lower chance of getting names. Unless they simultaneously increase their firepower or add some other registrars as partners it will have to fizzle out unless membership is closed before the pool is too crowded.

my success for this evening at club drop:
achieved.net
like this one :)

It was stated that Enom has 6,000 active resellers. I have 4 "active" reseller accts that I use daily. And, I would speculate that many reseller acct. holders have more than one acct.

Yesterday they did get out off my list:
computersworld.com
liveevents.com

But not for me :(

I see it this way:

you pay $99 month for a quite good chance to get a very few (2-3) decent names a month which might worth in total just around $99.

Plus you have a daily ticket lottery to get your very loooooooooooow chance to hit the big one.

Not a so bad deal in my opinion.

BTW, they alreday got me a couple of the decent names.

Good luck to all,

wow sounds so cool
but $99/months is too much for me :)

anyway, good luck to all!

Yesterday for me beansprouts.com
