No offence, but I wouldn't recommend you registering any .cn domain name if this is what you know about China, especially the Terriyaki part ... LOL! :laugh:

Getting small, one word generic names related to business or industry is ok for the fee they are asking. Anything else is waste of your precious $$$.

Actually url, I just registered my first .com.cn today at eNOM and the "fee" is the same as anything else I've registered on the .com, .net, .org namespace i.e. $29/year (but 2 years minimum).

Aside, I thought I'd get a .com.cn to forward to my real target landing site, .cn. So when people type-in myname.com.cn, the .com disappears and URL reflects just .cn :evil:

I made the decision to grab the .com.cn version after I saw ESPN advertising the address on cable TV. Hey, its no sweat off the camel's back especially when registering names are so cheap.

mole, why don't you set up yourself as an eNom reseller and pay a much lower registration fee. You don't need a lot of volume. For instance, you could easily get a $9.95 account by funding just $100 (that's only about 3 names you register using their retail pricing which I reckon as a mark-up by intention).

And you can easily convert your existing account into a reseller on by e-mailing their support. Their reseller sales support is quite responsive.

Be your own registration provider. Take a look at ville.org's whois, I am now my own registration service provider. Isn't that cool?
