Godaddy got the one I wanted. At first it showed somone elses info in the whois then after a day it changed.
Filmmaker.co

Also go eFilm.co via Moniker. and still waiting to see if I picked up Talent.co from 1and1.com.

I hate 1and1 but they were the only ones at the time that accepted the registration...Now there seems to be some kind of error...Stay clear of 1and1.

I got an email and a phone call telling me that 2 of my names are going to auction, but I haven't gotten the login info for the auctions yet.

I just picked up one for now.. modelingagency.co

Have a few others I have my eye on but not sure I'll bite..

GoDaddy revoked cheque.co from me today. Ironically GoDaddy's shopping cart seems to be timing out stopping me from registration another decent domain

Nearly missed out but managed to register:

Fuschia.co
Fuschias.co
WasteRecycling.co

Less than $90 is not much of a gamble.

Plan is to develop Fuschia.co have Fuschias.co point to it as well as some .com/.co.uk 'fuschia' linked domains I have. Hopefully the site will do better than the 30 new types of fuschia I put in the garden this year thanks to the weather (presently we have a hose pipe ban in force but have had over 7 inches of rain in the last week :( ).

what do you mean, how did he "get" them? there have been no auctions yet. do you mean he got trademarks for these terms? :?::?:

They probably bought in bulk in $$$$$ each.

I was referring to domain market. We have some really nice ones. So far I have sold 3. One for xxxx and two for xx,xxx.

Newbies be very careful of paying for someone's early retirement with these pitiful names. Don't fall for typical scams like highly publicized sales that are obviously not "arm's length". Don't believe the hype. If someone buys a name for $30 and tries to sell it to you a month later for 100 or 1,000 times that, you will be the laughingstock and you will NOT like the result when this extention flops like they all do.

Buyer beware, but I am here to help, since there are way too many conflicts of interest out there. Nobody cares about falsely reported sales and shill bidding. Just say "NO" and enjoy your life. You will thank me later.

I see it is starting already. These are not legit sales, they are well-planned advertising gimmicks where you have no idea what really happened. Shame on everyone involved. I can't wait for someone to go to jail over over one of these scam sales. At least they got a major company to go along with the pumping. Usually, it is just some anonymous buyer like the http://www.sportsbook.mobi/ sale that was reported in 2007 as a 129K sale.....check out the site....lol.

Beware of similar pumping like below. Yeah, once in a while a sale might be legit, but you will start to see some real headscratchers in the coming months. You will know which ones are FRAUDS. Trust your instincts.

O.CO (Colombian country code) was right behind at $350,000 after being purchased by Overstock.com in a highly publicized sale that accompanied the re-launch of the .CO extension this week. Those two sales also rank among the three biggest ccTLD sales reported so far in 2010.

WhoDatDog I am going to have to disagree with you. Of course you wouldn't want to buy orangeyellowgreenblue.co for $1000 but there are nice .co domains that are selling already for a nice chunk of change. Whether you want to believe that the .co extension is already doing well is your choice. In 12 months it may be completely horrible but right now to my knowledge its doing very well. Definitely off to a good start.

As far as someone paying $30 for a name and reselling it for 10xs happens all the time with hand registered names so whats the difference if they plan on putting it to good use?
