The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com and the country codes continue to come on strong. A German .de was #1 last week. This week it's the UK's .co.uk sitting on top of the chart after the highest reported sale we've seen in that extension to date. Even more surprising, two .se (Swedish country code) domains hit the Top Ten. Of course, .com got the lion's share as always but the rising tide in the domain business is lifting boats of all kinds. The new TLD's are benefitting too as the top four sales went above 4K, 3K, 2K and 1K respectively. Read all about it through the link below:

What do you know? I checked about an hour and a half ago, but it was still showing last week's. Then the same after seeing your post here, so I hit F5 and there it is. Am using Mozilla. Had it not been for coming across your post, I would have probably waited until tomorrow. Thanks for another week of this resource.

Another great article..

Also, I noticed no results of sales from pool? Have they been that busy in sales(suspending accounts)?

I was wondering that too. Seems like pool.com has been in a steep decline for the past few months since about the time Snapnames.com went to the auction model (and pool went to sealed bids).

Except for occasional reports, it appears they are not mentioned much in DNJ anymore compared to when they had the market dominated prior to their unpopular sealed bid method. I have not used them much at all for a long time but did try them last week with a good size sealed bid but they lost the name to someone else (I think it was Ult).

Pool's apparent decline reminds me that also happened to Snapnames a few yrs ago when they went from #1 to the back of the pack (but now have risen from the ashes and pool may be taking their place in the ashes).
