I'd have liked to have purchased that one...

I see they have it rerouting to peets...

Easy Guys.... I am the buyer. I think it was a good acquisition. I also acquired Cigar.info last week. Cigars, Coffee and Flowers. Bill Mac.

Yeah, but I'll bet you can't spell wow backwards, or say it backwards real fast.

I love that color...

I'm anxious to see what will be done with the Coffee domain...

I like getting coffee hits, but that seems bloody expensive. Good if your a .org owner.

I never like it when people say a domain is "sold" before it ever really is.. cough * cough * Pizza.com/Pizza.net ..... but Coffee.org IS currently in Sedo Escrow according to whois, so it does look as this one will be "sold".

With that said, I personally love the .org "feel good" extension. They rank very well in SE's and many times outrank .com's. The internet is full of trust issues and many people "trust" the .org extension, which can give your site instant trust and that is priceless! I think people are just noticing how underrated .org domains are!

For certain keywords I agree, the extension does work well, but for coffee? Umm nah not really. With regard to SEO, you ain't getting a boost whatsoever.

The #1 rank for the keyword Coffee and "coffee" on google is a .org (for my region). It is wikipedia, but once coffee.org is developed, it will start gaining in the ranks and will rank in the top 10 if done correctly IMO.

Sure it could, but you could say the same thing about any domain. It won't get in the top 10 just because it's "Coffee.org" Anyway, no disrespect to the new owner, they obviously have big plans dropping $100k on the name.
