Whoever they are going to work for I hope that drop catcher requires them to have catches managed through a real registrar's full featured interface. Otherwise thet catcher will cath more but angry customers will multiply 100 fold when they realize they can't manage the domains they won.

there are 100's of new registrars coming... hold on to your hat for a paradigm shift.

Then there will be too many registers trying to catch and ICANN will have to do something.

Instead of WLS and instead of registers using drop pool connections it should be like the UK system - names deleted at a random time on a first come first serve basis.
