I just bought 2 domains today for $5.19 each. Let me do a price breakdown:

3.99 Domain
1.95 Traffic Facts
.25 ICANN fee
-1.00 Promo code usa1

Grand total of 5.19 a domain.

If those other discounts run out, fell free to plug this in the code box
to get $1 off anything.

Thanks, that worked like a charm, but I did have to replace usa1 with (StocDoc suggested) David code.

Sweet, that David code worked for me. Just renewed 5 .us domains for $4.94 each.
$6.95 + $1.95 - $2.96 discount for adding traffic facts then - 1.00 = $4.94

As always everyone remember to then go and cancel the traffic facts as instructed in my previous post or the daddy will recur bill you next month for them. I think that is why they are allowing this because they don't think most people will be hip to the re-bill for traffic facts.

I just registered one .com domain it cost me $5.19, its working perfectly :)

Now I have a problem, I must be blind or something but I can't find the place where I can cancel the TrafficFacts.

When I go to mange hosting account it says I don't have any which I don't. I just opened my godaddy account so maybe im just not seeing the right place yet.

Anyone? :)

Worked like a charm for me for a renewal. $5.19 total. Thanks for the tip!

Yup, the first post contains the perfect instructions - when cancelling the renewal, you could select "cancel at expiration" and not "cancel now" if you want to use the services until they expire...

Just a quick update, as of today the david code is still working. Type in "david" in the promo code box and click apply - save a buck more off the final price. COOL!

David code works still - I had to renew a domain I just bought. Damn GD, I'll have to wait 60 days to pull it out (GD does that even for owner changes).

Ho much is the discount with the david code? Is that the same $1 discount you get with the USA6 code?

Just checking to make sure I am using the best disc code.

I know I can still use USA6 for the $1 discount. That combined with Traffic Facts for one month brings the cost to about $5.19 / each.

Yes, but David and USA6 cannot be stacked for a $2 discount... It's still working for new domains, as well as renewals (of domains expiring on GD).. a pretty sweet deal - remember to go cancel the autorenewing Traffic Facts tho' unless you wish to pay for it down the road.

I'm happy I "cheated" GD off a buck; I don't keep my names there as it is. It was a domain expiring in less than 60 days so I had to renew without waiting before pulling it to Enom. GD is really a pain in the ass for implementing domain lockdowns even for ownership changes.

Quick question. Those of you who used 1and1 for $5.99. Is it really true and do you think they are a trustworthy and capable company to transfer 100's of domains over to?

I hear it is difficult to transfer or push domains at 1and1. You have to fill out a form and fax it to them. They also charge a $6 transfer fee.

Just to let you all know can still get domains for 5.19 with one month of traffic facts and code DAVID still works.

Just don't forget to turn off the autorenewal on the traffic facts

Sombody stop me from buying domains!!
