I think some of the UDRP's have been surprisingly fast. TM holders can not keep up with the new releases. ICANN and the registrars have done very little to ensure brand protection. On the surface, this paints a very negative picture to domainers and increases the visibility of the term 'cybersquatters'.
A few weeks back I was looking at a list of registrants for new gTLD's and was quite surprised to see to see that numbers that Brands had registered as a defensive measure:
Microsoft 971
Johnson and Johnson 831
Amazon 664
Walgreen's 654
TD Ameritrade 518

The real hilarious kicker is (as demonstrated on this very forum) the number of stupid domainers contacted the legit company in order to hopefully sell the domain.
As Domaingang has frequently shown since the launch of new gTLD's, there are instances of UDRP a' plenty.
There is no shortage of gimmicks to entice registrations and skew numbers. I wonder how many TM .xyz were regged by non TM holder peeps?
