Comments on so many newer members having lots of domains for sale here lately?

Anyone else notice the many names and websites recently posted for sale, often by fairly new members? I don't recall this happening much in the past as it seems like that trend started fairly recently.

It also seems that possibly some may be purchasing dnf$ (perhaps to make them look better) as you may see someone with lots of dn$ but only a small number of posts so it is odd how they got the dnf$ so quickly.

Another oddity is that another newer member sometimes posts in support of the other one.

Traffic stats also seem suspect about some of the high value ones for sale.

Also odd why so many new members have joined in the past few mos. Where did so many come from?

I am not saying there is any fraud happening in most cases but it does seem quite odd.

In the last reload of invites, dnf sent "upgrade free to gold" emails, to every member that ever exsisted that didn't buy in(bronze) when gregr started charging. So that, coupled with the regular invite reload has brought a bunch of new members.

I think there is a flood of traffic coming in from the partnership with Sedo.
Look at their homepage, there's a banner for DNforum right smack there!

Plus, with the logical progression of many recent link exchanges, it's all starting to pay off.

Free memberships cant be forgotten.
There's so many reasons why this forum is starting to really take off.

Let's bask in the effervescence.

Yes, links help a lot. I for one have put up a few links to DNF without even requiring or asking for a back-link.

It is now easier to see where the new members are coming from but the other issues are still unanswered.

If you compare alexa dstate vs dnf graph the trend in favor of dnf is really strong with ds basically staying at about the same level over past few mos and dnf trending up nicely.

i made a sale thread for a site of mine (blackeyedpeas.net a forum with no ads and no membership)..
first quote from a new member:
***$?!
second quote from another new member:
***$?! too mutch !whats the revenue?
(what revenue? with no ads and membership?)
i reported to mods..but they did nothing for a few days
next day i saw a thread from the second new member:
"is the domain blackeyedpeas.net TM?why is he selling it?"
he was naming my site as TM issue....
the mods finally deleted all my thread........
