What would the domain " Commerce.co.uk " be appraised at?

Kind Regards,

Barry

Sub Domains: e.commerce.co.uk & m.commerce.co.uk

What kind of applications are possible with this name, Barry?

The worth of a name is highly dependent on identified business or non-business applications - and it will vary depending on which context it sits.

Is not it commerce.co.uk ?
If so I would say it is a great domain worth at least $25000

Selling: Where do you think ill get the most response from, eg, Afternic etc.

Regards,

Barry

Tough to sell .co.uk's in this market. I think the domain is worth a solid $20k. However, it is v difficult to sell a .co.uk for anything over $2k.
I think a name like this would be v suitable for direct marketing, send emails to appropriate firms - I would be surprised if you didnt get a bite.

Out of interest what sort of type-in's do you get on this name, what sort of offers have u got to date?

Weve had offers of 20k but believe its worth more due to the traffic in receives and revenue it creates.

We are currently chatting to the FT to see how much it would cost to advertise it for sale, We will also be sending out press releases to national papers to see if it gains any interest.

The site used to be one of the UK's leading Publishing Houses. You can view old contents on www.archive.org then type "Commerce.co.uk" in the wayback machine.

The site yesterday alone received over 28k views.

I'm sure some blue chip will be interested once publicised.

We'll soon see what happens!

We are also offering 10% brokers fee to people who believe they can sell the domain for us.

Regards,

Barry
