Congratulation Batman and JMizel on getting your notices!
I didn't receive an email yet, but when I log into my SnapNames account, I see that I have one domain In Review. In case my spam filter ate the email, what does it say?
The most important factor moving forward for high interest in auctions is quality names. Domainers, and especially potential business end-users, will not waste their time perusing auctions with names that are of obvious low quality. What concerns me is how/why supposed domain professionals would opt to put such domains in an auction. To me, it's not the number of auctions that is the problem. It's the venue itself and whether it's properly promoted and contains a nice selection of names.
I predict that some new players will emerge in the domain auction business who may have more reach and experience in the field ... who will push things to a higher plateau. I like the auctions, but believe there is much room for improvement.
I got one name accepted. But if it says its in review, does that mean it still may not end up in one of the auctions?
This was a name that Moniker passed on a couple of months ago which IMO was a huge mistake. But looks like with the merger now, they'll benefit anyway.
