What does it matter how many country fans there are in the world, if they aren't coming to your site. I own RockMusicIsCoolasHell.com. Since theres so many rock n roll fans, does this mean it has a large resale value? Of course not.

Sure there's potential with the name you have, but that can be said for 99% of the domains out there.
You obviously will not get any type-ins due to the .ws extension.
Right now, I see it being worth the registration fees, until it's developed and starts tapping into the country music market.

Regards.

If someone wanted to make a Country Music Site do you think they would rather have countrymusic.ws or countrymusiciscoolashell.com

The thing is. Both of the domains have something in common.
They will never be a type-in!
Simple.

One domain is flawed for being to long.
And one domain is flawed for being a .WS

Same thing man. Your name is as worthless as, "CountryMusicIsCoolAsHell.com"

Isn't .WS an abbreviation for WorthlesS anyhow? :)

Jokes aside; it seems even prime one word .ws names don't sell, maybe its ok if your going got put up a personal site, but for resale value I doubt any of them have much value.

How are people going to find the site?
I have yet to see a .WS in a Search Engine.
And who is to say it's easier to remember. That is an assumption. Because still to this day, I get mixed up with sites that have dot-com & dot-net versions.
Nevermind, if you through a dot-ws in the mix.

And that domain I mentioned, was exaggerating a bit.
I doubt anyone would register a six-word domain.
However if we take countrymusicONEWORD.com
I think it would be easier to remember then your domain.
All because of it's extension. You seem to not realize, there has been no branding of the dot-WS extention. Only a limited amount of computer-savvy individuals know about it. Which accounts for less then 1% of the net.
So someone may go to your site, leave. And try to come back the next day, searching under "countrymusic.com" & "countrymusic.net", ect ect.
