closed CreditCard101.com - Makes sense?

makes real sense as a name for an informational website about credit cards. I remember reading up about how credit cards work online, and supposedly, its quite a hotly searched subject. All those fine prints and APRs etc. can be confusing to someone who's never used credit cards before, so this name makes perfect sense...
You target audience should be the freshmen college kids...101 makes sense in that respect since many freshmen college classes are at the 101 level

I held the backorder at the time of auction (and still do for now) and decided not to bid. It's a nice name in itself, but let's face it - almost nobody's going to sit at their computer now and type "creditcard101" when they're looking for cc's or even info about cc's. Moreover, the competition for credit card names is enormous, including the plural of this one, so the only thing it has going for it is that it's solidly brandable and a nice example of a "101" name.
That said, I'd be inclined to agree with the $500 to $1K range posted here and would even say $1K+, as long as you're willing to put in the expense of trying to develop something that could get the good SEO which this probably could get in time, instead of looking for something with more "natural" potential.

Maybe no body will type in 101 in the browser. However, all college courses' introductory classes are 101, example CS101 is intro to comp sci. I think this is a great name and will target college students to come to your site and sign up for credit card offers. It will be very easy for them to remember.
I really thing this name can be in mid thousands or more. Create some questionairs which leads them to sign up for services.
