In early 2006 I had a very unique business idea in which I decided to create a site for and see how things would go. In May 06 I bought the first domain and played around with a layout. In August I started doing a bit of advertisement to see how people would react to this type of business. Right away I started getting customers. By Dec 06 I was completely swamped with new customers and was barely able to keep up. In Sept. we was even interviewed by The Sun which is one of the biggest newspapers in England.

Anyways we were averaging at least 2k in revenue and sometimes even more. It was definitely a profitable business choice. But due to the lack of time we just couldn't keep up. So we decided to finish up the cases we had and took the site down. The layout itself isn't that great because I'm not a designer but the idea behind the site is very unique and original. One that you will not be able to find anywhere else on the web. Parts of the site is automated to make things easier for the owner.Once I have a buyer I will sit down and go everything with them to show how everything works. The whole insight to the business and what worked for me to make things run smoothly. I will give basic details about the site but I will not explain in details to anyone but the buyer.
This idea was very profitable for us even on a part time basis. I would like to see someone carry on the idea and be able to turn it into a full time profitable business. In the short time that I ran the business it was not only profitable but I had a lot of fun doing it. My expenses for the site were very minimal. I think I only spent 500 all together for everything. I also don't know how accurate the professional domain appraisals are but I did have both domains professionally appraised.
