DesignArena.org - Photoshop Tutorial website, Established, very nice little money maker.
Hey guys,
I need to raise some funds for a new project so I have been forced to sell my website http://www.designarena.org
The site has a custom design, and a custom coded backend. The main attraction to this website is the RSS feature that the site has. Basically what it allows users of the site to do is to display all the websites content on there website for free. However, you still get the banner impressions on the frame forwarding page.
A demo of a site using the script is http://www.thephotoshopsite.com . Notice how there are google ads on the frame forwarding page on each tutorial. You can use this space for anything you want, be it running google adsense or just promoting your own websites.
This script would be very easy to change into a different style website. Online games for example. The same concept would work linking to online games instead of tutorials.
I have sold a few websites on this forum using this script. They donââ¬â¢t take long to make, if you have any design experience at all you will be able to make loads of these style sites and sell them on for profit. You will also still be getting the banner impressions for each tutorial that is displayed.
Here is how it works,
You make a site using the script.
You sell the site.
The new owner advertises his site, he gets his site updated for nothing and still makes money off it.
You still get all the banner impressions on the frame forwarding page.
Essentially this means unlimited revenue. Unlimited traffic. This is an awesome script and an awesome idea. itââ¬â¢s a shame I have to let it go.
The site is currently getting around 100 unique visitââ¬â¢s a day. 100 is actually being very modest, some days the unique visits has been up as high as 180+. This is with no promotion what-so-ever. I have been very busy with other things the past little while, this site has gone neglected. A lot of the traffic is coming from other sites using the rss script.
There is a custom coded admin panel for the website, from here you can control all the content on the website. Add / remove tutorials, categories etc. Here is a screen shot.

The site also has a vbulletin forum installed, skinded up with the sites design seamlessly. I havenââ¬â¢t really had chance to promote that yet but it should be to hard. People often need help on tutorials and the forum is a perfect place to do that.
The vbulletin licence doesnââ¬â¢t come with this sale as I canââ¬â¢t transfer it. This will cost you an extra $80 from vbulletin.com if you want to keep the forum running.
The site is very easy to update. A lot of the tutorials are actually acquired from people submitting them using the submit form. They then get moved to an area on the admin panel from which you can just approve them.
I am hoping to get somewhere around $2000 for this site. However I am open to offers as I am looking for a quick sale.
>>>> Price Drop, BIN $1500. Please also feel free to make reasonable offers as i am looking to sell this site today.
I hope I havenââ¬â¢t left anything out. If anyone has any questions drop me a PM. I will be in the office all day tomorrow so you should get a prompt reply.
Regards,
Jon
