I find it a tad odd that with that many hits you only have 1 forum member (presumabely yourself) and no posts. Seems fishy to me.

Did you take a look at the forum? I haven't even set up any categories to start any topics or threads. If you notice, the only category in the forum is a "Test" category. So, more than likely no one is going to join a forum that isn't even set up yet.

i have to agree. i was thinking the same thing. also the site was said to be making $20 a day in may, now $325 a day. why wouldn't this person slap up another similar site and generate the revenues needed?

Yeah, back in May I didn't do any advertising. Now I do. Isn't it wonderful what advertising does!

so your site is really based on traffic from these myspace accounts? so what is the value of this site then? you could develop any site and drive this FREE traffic to it.

you should be selling this FREE traffic machine you have going.

Go look at the referer stats. All traffic is not coming from myspace. As I stated in the original post the new buyer would probably want to have a myspace account. I will explain exactly how to post the bulletins to the new owner of the site. Also, over 20,000 visitors have added the site to their favorites, so alot of the traffic is return visitors.

****UPDATE****

To be more fair I am going to lower the prices a bit. The site has been getting the same amount of clicks, but the click value has gone down(I'm sure it will go back up). So for the past week and a half the site has been averaging $172.25. We can turn this into an auction also.

BIN: $50,000 (just under 10 months revenue)

Starting Bid: $20,000

The buyer will need to have their own myspace accounts, as I am keeping the ones I have. I know of places where u can buy them if they buyer does not have one already.

I think you just made leo1977 point for him, if you don't want to sell the myspace accounts with it. It's because you know the value they have, if you know you can buy them easy then you should buy new ones.

Over 30,000 people have added the site to their favorites in their browser. So you know those people will come back.

Google do allow images next to ads, provided there is enough seperation between the ad and the picture (e.g. a border around the image, the image can't say "click here" or be an arrow etc). I've seen written proof from Google.

Sure, I've never done that before. Could you get me a link that explains how to set it up?

Thanks.

If I were to buy this site, would you explain to me your adsense secret on how you receive such large amounts with relatively low impressions? Your monthly totals show you averaged a $15.24 eCPM, which is completely unheard of for these type of sites. I run a similar site and do far more impressions than you do and don't come anywhere NEAR those CPM's or your daily totals.

A day with 642 impressions you made $37.09? That's a $57 CPM, even assuming a 100% click through wouldn't even make you that much with a humor site unless you have a secret that we don't know about.

Is it possible to explain the HUGE variations in advertising revenue? for instance, June 25th you did 9843 impressions and made $230.48 in revenue. July 1st, you did almost 300 impressions more for a total of 10,101, but only made $26.03 in revenue.

Also if you're doing 15,000-50,000 steady unique visitors a day and you have 2 adsense units per page, wouldn't your impression totals reflect this? How is your impression average BARELY over 20,000 and quite a few days are no where close to 20,000 (remove your top 5 days and you'd be under 20,000).

Also it appears you had extremely small traffic and as of June 20th through the 24th your traffic went insane. Is this to be expected? Is this consistent with traffic in the past?

Thanks
