The buyer won't do PayPal and I can't do Escrow, so it looks like the deal will fall through. Yes, I am relieved. I've had individual offers on those names totalling over $15k - I'm not sure what went wrong with the auction, but $3200 is very disappointing..

I'd take the bad feedback regardless.
Money is money and you can always buy another ebay account with a positive track record.
There has got to be a better way of letting know all the legit buyers out there that something is for sale.
Too many times I have missed things because I didn't log on the forums and look at every thread.
Wading through the crap on ebay is something that I don't do anymore.

What do you mean?

I mean what beachie just said. The auction wouldn't go thru.... :-# :-#

I believe you can still sell to the 2nd high bidder if the high bidder doesn't follow through.

How come you didn't put a reserve on the auction, beach?
Reserves seem to slow bidding, and I really didn't expect such a bad result.

Out of curiosity, how much were u expecting?

Ebay is also doing away with reserves now.

I thought it would reach $5k easily. It seems from the number of PM's and seller questions from eBay that most people simply missed the end..

The English sounds too choppy. I'm assuming this is a scam.

Got the email as well.

Figured it was a scam when I saw that the seller would be using a shipping company to send me the domains. Pretty sure I've seen this same letter posted here about a year ago warning of this type of scam at Ebay in general.

Does this possibly mean the sale fell thru and names still avialable?

Eek! Yes, that's definately a scam!! I've had a couple of those with other auctions. I like how they call it a "unit".

I got the same exact email...I thought the "free shipping" was funny.

Hmmm quite a coincidence. Three bidders received the same email. Since it was not sent via the Ebay system, the sender somehow acquired their email addresses and sent a fake message.

.biz, what do you think? d:-)

This one I think the scammer sent thru ebay. He/She doesn't know what the meaning of domain name is (or possibly not even look what the item was), but just try to scam bidders by offering cheaper than final price.
