Traffic has doubled in the last 24 hours. Pretty impressive since the URL itself was not in the story. People would have had to look it up in Google (or another search engine) and a significant number apparently did. The nice thing is once they find you many will bookmark the site and come back - so a mention like that definitely helps build your audience.

Google is indexing just about everything on our site very high (almost all of our pages are PR7) so it is easy to find us there. Even if you type in something like Rick Schwartz (don't even need parenthesis) out of all of the things written about him before and the other people named Rick Schwartz, our story about him comes up #1 on page one out of 172,000 pages.

Yup, funny especially noone bought it at the bargain prices.

But back to the subject, Duke's Journal would benefit from some cross-linking via blogs. Then you'd see some quadrupling of traffic!
