It looks horrible, in IE it looks disastrous, my 2 cents, carry on:veryangry:

I would like to see it go back to its previous format.

It isnt quite as easy on the eyes as Id hoped, will take getting used to. Maybe they bring back some darkening ?

They are working on it night and day...it's coming along :yo:

The mobile version seems much slower to load. I wish we had the option to opt for the old skin...

Must agree. In Firefox at 1920x1200 your eyes go....nowhere. Focus is everywhere which makes it seem awash in information but devoid at the same time. It's got some potential and improvements (the Content Development section in the forum list is definitely going the right direction), but something just doesn't quite work as far as looks. Not a designer and hate web designing so can't say what doesn't work, but first you've got to know if people like it! Or maybe I'm just an irritable old-school kind of guy that doesn't like change. Nah! Maybe it's the dark blue toolbar and dark blue headers for the listings for the forum sections?

I prefer the old design format, oh well, gotta get use to this ..meh

At least have the old version available to use where you can click on a link to it at the bottom. This is hard on the eyes, too much stuff going on. Np made the same type of changes and it was and is horrible, now here. Although this is just a tad bit better but still discombobulated and jumbled together.

dont like the new design, sucks! my opinion.

i like the old is gold

Same here. I don't like this new design...it appears cluttered before my eyes and takes me longer to find sections.

Sorry, but this is not exactly a "new design" but an upgrade to vBulletin's 4.0 Publishing Suite (from the previous vBulletin 3.8x).

I find it a tad confusing, might get used to it but not sure yet. I still hate Sedo's new frontpage, it's a step backwards. It's great to add new tools but sometimes the cover doesn't need to change. These websites might need a haircut but not a full face lift by a plastic surgeon. Just my 02.

my eye's hurt and this makes my brain go scribble.... this format sucks.

The new vbulletin 4.0 is quite tricky than earlier versions. There are some simple bugs that pop up every once in a while but extremely better than vbulletin 3.8 and earlier. There is a big need for widgets for this version as well as editing the css as the files are a little different than the earlier versions. Those that have bought or upgraded to vbulletin 4.0 (as myself) do not like the default design are still working on the design and layouts which will take some time. This site will look better, just be patient. 4.0 is just easier to handle, update and do many functions with less effort except for the small and easy to fix bugs.

This version of vbulletin is supposed to have a blog section for every user..... i dont know if i let the cat out of the bag or they are not intending on using for users. If they use the blog part (which comes with this version), then this would help all of us out SEO-wise. I believe they want to charge users for the blog section and it seems that they are working on the payment section for users using the blogs....... am i wrong about this?

I dislike the new layout as well. I refuse to strain my eyes for DNF.

I normally do not like to post anything negative, but I must agree that the new site is very difficult to read. I thought it was just me, as I am getting old...lol...and my fonts are all on the largest that exist. My daughter only laughs at me..

I thought the original site was just fine...My biggest gripe is that the forum titles are in the same style font...I used to just be able to scan down a page to look for the ccTld forum that interested me the most, as it was posted easily on the far right...

oh, and by the way, as I clicked on the ABC spell check to check the spelling on this post, I got a stupid error message telling me I had to Download IESpelll. Geez, come on now,

qm

It seems that the old adage applies here..."if it aint broken, don"t fix it!!"

Yeah, the old format was better.

Overall is nice, just need to optimize the website so that the forum load faster.

Looks completely horrible on Firefox, not easy to navigate, not good on the eyes.
