Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a quick update on my domaining journey so far and get some feedback from the community.
I bought my very first domain in May, 2026. Before that, I had zero experience in the domain space. What started as pure curiosity quickly turned into a deep dive into brandables.
I’m also taking a disciplined approach to growth by adding new names steadily each month rather than in sudden sprees. This forces me to refine my criteria with every acquisition.
To keep things organized, I built a simple portfolio site: Syncosis.com
A few names I’m relatively optimistic about:
Would love to hear any constructive thoughts on the names listed, or general advice from the veterans here on scaling a portfolio month by month.
Thanks for reading-looking forward to connecting with you all!

Current Focus & Strategy
Right now I’m mainly targeting strong brandable names, with a preference for:- AI & Agentic tools
- Web3 & Infrastructure
- Clean two-word .coms
- Selective consumer/niche names
I’m also taking a disciplined approach to growth by adding new names steadily each month rather than in sudden sprees. This forces me to refine my criteria with every acquisition.
Portfolio Status
I currently hold around 20+ domains. I’ve listed them across Afternic, Sedo, Atom, and Spaceship. To keep things organized, I built a simple portfolio site: Syncosis.com
A few names I’m relatively optimistic about:
- Words.best
- CoreEVM.com
- CipherAge.com
- AgenticRonin.com
- PrecisionSage.com
- GenieBolt.com
- ParkMyDog.com
Lessons Learned So Far
- Brandability beats cleverness — If it takes too long to explain the concept, it’s usually a hard pass.
- Organization helps — Setting up a dedicated portfolio site early kept my listings structured and gave me a clearer overview.
- Patience over rushing — Steady monthly acquisitions force better evaluation before buying.
- Quality over quantity — It’s very easy to over-buy when you’re new. I’m actively focusing on higher-quality names.
- Disciplined expansion — Adding only 1–3 carefully vetted names per month while keeping renewal costs under control.
