chrismacleod.co.uk
chrismacleod.com

I would love macleod.com or .co.uk but both taken, instead i have to make do with macleod.cc.

Yes ... nowadays ... unless you have a very unique first and last name ... you are lucky to run across your own name .com. It is common practice for professionals (i.e, Lawyers, Realtors, etc) to use there names as there business home page.

I was lucky to find my wife's for her recently ... I would suggest if yours happens to still be there, it is worth the reg :)

Nobody owns my name... and I have no intention of ever registering it, in hopes that someone else will and I can take 'em to ICANN. :)

why is that? I own a lot of my family members, so they don't have to do that.

I just checked...Who would have thought my last name Bolyard would have been taken. I don't know anyone with that last name other than my immediate family :)

There are many names that I would of like to have, I was so late getting in the URL game, and when I did I thought it was dead, but it's not. Still much to be made. I think they should setup a .cell, for cell phones. or do they?

I was looking around for my son's first name (nickname), and it's taken, but they offer to share it by allowing you to sign up for an e-mail account.
I thought about doing something like this with a few of my URL's.

sample site: eddy . com

Yes. I think this was the third name I registered.

First was for a client and second was where I live.
