I like it so far. It's clean and smooth. I admit I was shocked when the site loaded up. I thought I hit the wrong bookmark. Out from the dark and into the light. Very warm and welcome feeling. BIG change from the dark and ominous feeling the previous skin used.

Home page is a bit generic for people in the Industry. Lot's of high-profile businesses/names/pics to use. Come on Adam, give in already and put your pic on the home page.....

Or maybe use some of that open space to highlight domains for sale. Rotating, featured, names and services etc.

I may give in by tomorrow,

I like the old one much better. You aksed us to be honest. but hey its the content that counts right?

The quoted text should have the gray background, not the other way around... I think somebody is trying too hard being creative.

The only thing that looks good is the black navigation bar with the red under it... Everything else looks DRAB.

The new one is fine. The old one was good too.

I just want to sell domains. Oops, I mean, I just want to develop!

Everything else, is just details.

I hated the old skin so ANYTHING is better than that

New one is horrible, guys! Please stop experimenting and reverse back to the skin most of us love and get used to... :(((

Domainers hate change, it's funny, I just looked at the string of what some thought of the last change and the ones that want it back didn't like the last one either, but now they want it back. Go figure. A change will never please everyone.

Some adjustments will be made in the am.

-=DCG=-

I actually like it with a few adjustments. I would maybe change the red so its not so bright on the eyes or maybe its just mine. also add some border colors and change the logo. For some reason I do not like the logo.

I have to say that I did not like the last change very much, but it really grew on me. I think this skin is really good this time around. Much better.

I understand what members are saying about the initial page, but I think it makes sense and it will get more members to sign up...which means more sales happening.

Maybe put photos of the current moderators instead of the stock photo...

I don't have a strong opinion about the redesign, but do miss having iSpy - will that be restored? (I know the front page shows the most recent posts, but it's not auto-updating.)

May I suggest a DNF Intro Page Design? :?:

DNF Intro Page Design Link -> CLICK HERE <-

The current one bugs me :upset: and I'm having a late night so I thought I would play with what you see above.

I tried to find a balance between colour contrast as well as the objective of providing 1st-timers with a step-by-step guide into domaining/DNF, while satisfying the ease of navigation for regulars (thus greater exposure to the links than what is currently show). :ok:

The whole guy @ the PC w/ the floating extensions is over-done in my opinion. Makes it look like a template to me with a cheesy cookie-cutter header. :upset:

I put the Entry into DNF Button over to the right, as I find most people have their pointer more in that general proximity (close to the scroll bar where alot of people hover imo). :ok:

Not to say this is the bees-knees, but just something to compare with - plus it was fun to kill time with :)

GN. :asleep:

When the new design first appeared I was somewhat disapointed, but with Adam and the team tweaking the design constantly since its launch, and mainly following the advice of members, the site becoming a good improvement on the old site.

Give it a couple of days and a few more tweaks and it could be a very good improvement.

I love the new design.

I agree with opinion above ,

The design of homepage looks like a parked page , the forum design is not that bad ( previous one was much better though ) , but homepage really need improvement .

The other thing which might be done is to let logged in members to avoid seeing the homepage

Today's Thread link is not working any more. I usually use it to see the new threads each day.

Still too bright... eyes getting sore.
