Is it worth it to use a domain broker or just try to negotiate a domain name deal yourself.
What advantage "really" does a domain broker have over doing deal yourself? And what are examples of good brokers to use?

I personally dont care for brokers. In my opinion, a broker has somewhat of a conflict if interest. They need to get the best price for their buyers, but then they need to get the best price for the owner. Where do they draw the line?

I have used brokers a couple of times in the past. I did not have a BAD experience, but I did not have one that left me wanting to continue using one. Their fees are equivalent to the marketplace (SEDO/AN, etc). One of the advantages is that they usually have a lot of targeted contacts. If you need to move a name in a hurry and you price it reasonably, you can usually get a deal done quick.

Personally, I try to negotiate the deals myself, that way I do not have to pay a middleman for the sale.

From a buyer's perspective, you get ideas and inspiration and might end up finding a much better domain than you could find yourself. But if you have a specific domain in mind, you could very well go ahead and contact the seller yourself.
