For people running a single license on a dial-up link, it is beating $8 namewinner bids every time and has also beaten $25 bids.

Of course snaps are better, but (a) many names are not worth the $49 / $69 purchase price, and (b) there is only one snap place available.

eNom might be "slow", but how fast is NW on its US$8 and US$25 bids?

1/10th second ? 1 second? 1 minute? 1hour?

Anyone know?

On regular NSI drops Nw is fast, maybe 1 sec, maybe less.
But if You any other drop like godaddy, then there is no problem beating nw and snapnames

Thanks for your reply DotWords.com

I can't actually reconcile 1 second with my own personal stats.

I must admit I only have 5 names to go on, and it might just be that I was lucky with the 1 in 32 probability or whatever it works out as.

I wouldn't ask for the time of day from NAMEPURSUIT.COM or domainguru. They recommend and sell software that does not work.

Their popular domains software did not work for me, and has not been updated for over a year according to this user:

http://download.com.com/3302-2381-7062536.html

This program does not work. The support does not respond. I think they are no longer allowed to get domains from deleteddomains.com and went belly up. If anyone knows where to report this company they should do so. The program is 100% useless and there still selling it. I bought this about a year ago and it was a good product. I always upgraded versions and so on. Then, after the 128 version came out the program just quit. If you buy it you will get riped. BEWARE!
However, their charging of your credit card goes right through.

Now how many other programs would you like to purchase from this company?

1) We do not sell "popular domains" software. We wrote a review of it some time ago, and link to it based on that review. The person that sells that software is in no way associated with DomainGuru.com or NamePursuit.com
2) If the software doesn't perform as it states, get a refund or do a chargeback.
3) We wrote to "Popular Domains" telling them that if they didn't produce a more stable version, we would withdraw the review from our website. We have received no reply from and have withdrawn the review.
3) I told you all this in an e-mail last week.

Does the software only work with enom at the moment ?
The link says to purchase the enom license, which is why I'm asking.

Also, the $8 names that beat namewinner everytime, were those registered with enom using domaingrabber ? Which registrar using domaingrabber was beating the $25 bids also ?

Yes it's just eNom at the moment. Other versions will be ready when names start dropping again.

So yes, it is the eNom version that can beat NameWinner bids.

Do you need eNom API or just a regular eNom account?

Domainguru / Lee, you are so full of pudding!

You say you have withdrawn your recommendation:

3) We wrote to "Popular Domains" telling them that if they didn't produce a more stable version, we would withdraw the review from our website. We have received no reply from and have withdrawn the review.

why do you lie, according to your own website:

http://www.domainguru.com/article/368

And what about your tude?

2) If the software doesn't perform as it states, get a refund or do a chargeback.

so it's ethical for a company to sell a product that doesn't work, simply because the poor bastard that buys it has some chance at getting a refund? I REALLY want to do business with you!!!!

Actually, can you send me your customer list, i have some swampland in florida that looks promising.

We have withdrawn the review. We used to have several links to it on the domainguru.com site and now there are none, which I am sure you know already.

The reason you can still see the review is that I don't know a way to physically remove articles from the content management database, only hide them from view.

But since you are so keen on promoting the software by quoting the URL of the review on a public forum, I will now have to find a way to get the article physically removed from the DB.

2) If the software doesn't perform as it states, get a refund or do a chargeback.

The software worked when I reviewed it. If it hadn't, I wouldn't have written the review. You are only the second person in nearly twelve months to complain to me personally about the software. Other people have told me the software works satisfactorily for them.

Nevertheless, I have removed the review from my site.

If you would like some pints of blood from me just let me know
;)
