Just read about it in another forum. Couldn't believe my eyes 'til
I saw it for myself:

http://whois.domaintools.com/mcallen.com

Registrar Name....: REGISTER.COM, INC.
Registrar Whois...: whois.register.com
Registrar Homepage: www.register.com

Domain Name: mcallen.com

Created on..............: Sun, Jan 01, 1950
Expires on..............: Tue, Apr 13, 2010

It does have the correct Registry data, though.

Couldn't help but chuckle. :D

Damn, now that would be nuts..lol

I'm 99% sure it's an error

1950? Most of my domains were registered in the 18th century.

He he, thanks for bringing that up in DP. I also found this in NP, but it looks
like this has been going on for almost a month or so!

Personally, this is one error I somewhat don't mind. :D

My domains were handed down to me by my great-great grandfather. I don't sell them because they're family heirlooms.

I bought Elvis.com before anyone even knew who he was...

The man who created the Internet :D:lol:

The internet is no more then 17 years old. It might very well be an error

I wonder whats after the Internet...

hehe JP :D

nah, I think people will invent something more advanced ;)

After the internet? Read the Otherland series by Tad Williams. Though I have to warn you, the 4 novels in the series are about 1,000 pages each.
