closed domain names (thoughts)

Just wondering how many people who visit this site how many names they have can you imagine if we all grouped together and
ran a program for advertisers ourselfs with our own corp logo
i bet you some advertising firms would take notice and pay more cash.
it would be interesting to see if this would work on a trial
i have 1300 names some .coms but mostly .co.uks
thats a fair amount but if this was to be say 30 fold wow
lets have your thoughts on this

MAy I ask how much you have spent on it?
Did you sell any?
DO the sellers approach you or do you approach the sellers?
How do you find and contact sellers?

its traffic volume and quality what counts to advertisers.

cpm's for advertising to general traffic are extemely low - sub $1, so to be profitable would ideally want to get in with a major ppc seaech engine. if you could get together a big traffic (not domain) count then maybe as a whole you could get in with the likes of overture or findwhat which would be much more profitable.
