Tonight on Techcrunch.com, I find this about the upcoming awarding of the .art namespace.
deviantART Makes Its Case For Administering The .Art Domain
If you are not familiar with deviantART, I am willing to be that you have come across their images when you have been searching for images to use on sites.
It will take more and more news stories like this to hit the unlikely spots on the internet to increase awareness of, yes...the new gTLD's.
