2 visitors/2 searches/3 clicks/ctr 150.000%/ epc $4.53/ revenue $13.59

no biggie, but that's renewal money for another name, plus change for a big mac

Yes.. I am in the same boat as Kazzia.. Recently tried parking again, and the clicks I do get are all below 10 cents.

Think at this point it has to be a money term, or valuable expired traffic before parking is worth doing.

I agree, but wasn't it always that way? I mean unless a domain gets traffic (type-in or becuse it has links on other sites), how is a domains park page going to get clicks without traffic?

You used to be able to buy an expired adult domain and monitize that traffic. Back in 2007 I got 4x adult .info names that was part of an expired adult Network and got around 200 eur from each in 2 months. They were parked at sedo.

Today all those clicks would be worthless.. So no things have most definitely changed.

Interesting. Why would they be worthless today? Has the payout per click gone down significantly or is there another factor?

I can tell you one thing I know that makes parking less profitable...many park pages don't load in for me becuase I use the AdBlock plugin. The page is completely blank unless I deactivate the plugin for that domain. Use of ad blockers is getting more popular every day. These parking companies need to redesign/re-code their pages to circumvent adblockers. I'm sure it can be done. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Adblockers are great for web surfers, but they are causing advertisers to lose revenue so that makes sites turn to pay walls and such. It s a catch 22. I guess if you want a free internet, you have to be willing to lose some security. Freedom was never free.

some of my names that get type-ins, still earn around the same amounts per click, some a little more and many quite less

but I would attribute the lower volume of traffic, as the biggest factor for the decline of revenue.

seems laptop/desktop users don't use the address bar as much,
though I have noticed shifts of traffic now coming from android mobile searches.

then too, I have less than tree hunerd domains now, as opposed to a few k in 2007.

I moved a few names around (to bodis) and squeezed out an extra 30% increase in ppc revenue

I moved the above name "pygy.com" from sedo over to bodis for month of October, you can see difference below"

pygy 845 visitors 31 clicks 3.67%(ctr) $0.69(epc) $25.18(rpm) $21.28 revenue

it pays more sometimes to move names around
