I just received 2 letters from Domain Registration of Canda (DROC(.)CA). Have you guys received this type of letter as well?

I'll post the letter as soon as I get it scanned.

I've gotten scammy renewal letters in the mail from them for years. Shoddy business practice IMO

Here's the scanned copy of the letter. I am not sure how they're still in business. Their rating on BBB is F. why hasn't ICANN taken any action?
DROC Scam Letter

I meant CIRA. Not ICANN

I've been getting these letters for over 10 years now. Many people who don't know better take it as an official invoice and pay the high price. Surprised they are still in business since their practices are sooo shady.

yup, and some of the names i dont even own.

I have been getting these letters for years as well, the sad thing is I know a few people who have fallen for this and actually renewed domains through them... I really do not understand how they can continue to get away with it...

I'm sure we all shake our heads over these guys.....I guess they must make out like bandits because they keep doing their mailouts.
