I know this has been talked about multiple times but hasn't happened...let's plan a weekend and make it happen. We can get a nice hotel, everyone pays their own way, go out to eat, etc. How does Aug 20-22 work?

you can find me out on the lakefront on the weekends @ 63rd st beach, listening to the bongo players.


plenty of people selling jerk chicken, hot dogs, etc. and there's a restaurant at the harbor a few feet away.


also, free parking in the beachside lot for the rest of the summer!

I'll be driving in so no room needed.

SES last fall was at the Hilton on Michigan ave...I was impressed with the lounge but anything works really...noise would be the factor.

I would prefer a hotel with a lounge...I just figured we could all get together, eat, chat, drink etc

Any updates on this? Sept 3 works for me, does anyone have thoughts on the venue? I have a couple places in mind, it would just be a matter of making a few calls and setting it up. PM me if you can make it on the 3rd and I will work on setting up a concrete time and location.
