Thought I'd share some of the latest screenshots from DomainFolio, for those interested in the progress on my web-based domain management project. For those who've seen the project in its earlier stages, you'll notice that the interface has been revamped with a new layout and color scheme.
HOMEPAGE (click to view) - Latest shot of the "DomainFolio - home page". The homepage in DomainFolio is the place where it all begins. From here you can see the distribution your names have over registrars, over expiration dates, and over IP address networks. At the top, you can see the handy-dandy tools DomainFolio has at your fingertips, an easy search of your entire database of names, you can get instant whois results on names or IP addresses, or your can search the internal database of registrars for contact information. You'll note in the screenshots following, that the standard "left" navigation bar is in its "minimized" state in this screenshot. http://www.domainapps.com/screenshots/latest_home.gif
DOMAIN LISTING (click to view) - This is the domain listings page. Your can configure the displayed columns to display just the fields you wish, and to make it easier, there are presets so that you can switch between fields more suited towards different purposes. Selecting a name is as simple as "clicking" on the row it appears in, or clicking the checkbox next to it. You can then update the name(s) status, whois, ip information, or linkpop. You can also edit/delete names with a single button click as well. You will be able to move names between groups very quickly, as the "edit" button will not only edit single names, but will let you edit/move selections of names as well. Notice also that clicking on the column name will automatically sort the entries by the field you clicked. Clicking again will toggle the list between ascending and descending order. http://www.domainapps.com/screenshots/latest_listing.gif
DOMAIN VIEW (click to view) - This is the view screen the appears when you click the LINK of any name on the list. From here you can peruse granular detail on your name all on one convenient page. Though not shown in the screenshot, the full whois record appears at the very bottom. http://www.domainapps.com/screenshots/latest_view.gif
No real estimates on a "ship" date at this point, but the project has undergone much evolution since its conception. It has definitely come together into something I'm happy to use, and the helps keep track of my names everyday. The remaining aspects being programmed now basically deal with ease-of-use, future planning, and completeness. I'll post another message when development is in its final stages.
